What is this thing called workplace culture?  And how can it help you?

Are your customers complaining about the service they’re getting?  Are you seeing behaviours from your team that don’t sit right with you?  Have you hired what you thought were great people but they just don’t fit with your team?  Are staff leaving more often than you’d like?  If so, it may be time to look at how you really want your customers and your team to experience working with you.

Culture is about how we do things.  It creates the environment that you and your team work in.  It makes an organisation unique.  Yes, you might have a set of values, and yes, you hope those reflect your workplace culture.  But if your customers and team aren’t experiencing those values as reality every day, those statements are probably doing more harm than good.  You lose trust and credibility.

Your organisation has a culture whether you pay attention to it or not.  It develops all on its own. The question is, is it working for you?

This seminar will be facilitated by Anastasia Hildred.  Anastasia is the Principal Consultant at PuzzlePeace.  Her seminar will get you thinking about how you can:

  • Understand what your existing workplace culture is really saying about you and your business
  • Look at whether that culture truly supports what’s important to you
  • Put together a practical approach to developing the workplace culture you really want

It’s up to you what culture you create.  Build it right and your customers will be happier.  Your team will be more content.  And your organisation will perform better.

Over the last 20 years, Anastasia has worked as an accountant, business manager, human resources consultant and management consultant in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.  Her special expertise is in improving culture, structure and people selection, so organisations run more smoothly and are more productive.  PuzzlePeace is driven by her core belief that everyone is good at something – great things happen when we play to our strengths, and in organisations it’s no different.
