Audit Graduate

We have experienced unprecedented growth in our firm, and we are looking for an audit graduate to join our audit team. An exciting opportunity to work within our hugely personable, supportive, and experienced audit team, completing audit assignments for a variety of clients, from large commercial groups to smaller charities.

The Role:

You will be part of a team undertaking audits of client’s financial statements and similar assurance work. This will be combined with undertaking your Chartered Accountant studies.

You will work within teams completing audits on a number of different clients in a variety of industries. We will be providing you with on-the-job training to help you understand the purpose of the audit work as you assist with the completion of detailed audit work.

Most of your assignments will be based at the office. You will also spend time traveling to and working in client’s offices, where you will get to interact with client staff.

What we’re looking for

Auditors

We have experienced huge growth in the past year and need auditors at the Senior and Intermediate levels.  If you hold valid working rights in New Zealand, please apply.  We are different from other auditors.  We take life-work balance seriously and encourage our people to succeed both in and out of the office.

Our people have great opportunities, from international secondments to quick advancement and dealing with all levels within our clients’ businesses (right up to the CEO).  This is a full-time position where you will have the opportunity to work on audit jobs for a wide range of clients.

Being an auditor is challenging, you need to work well in a team, have excellent numerical and communication skills, as well as think in a mature and logical way, while working to tight deadlines.

We are looking for a person with:

  • 1-2 years of audit experience for the Intermediate role
  • 2-3 years of audit experience in the Senior Audit role
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills
  • An ability to engage with clients and team members
  • Systems knowledge (bonus points for Audit Assistant)
  • Professionalism and a “can do” attitude
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • On the pathway to becoming a CA or a recently qualified CA
  • The desire to work in a rewarding environment
